Those who use internet through mobile or modem, they can use net from another pc nearer the main pc. Suppose, your pc is connected with LAN in two different pc. And you are using net with the edge modem. Now you can use other pc with the same internet connection. But speed will slow slightly. In doing so, find the IP address of your LAN. Let, the IP is 192.168.1.12. now connect the pc with edge modem and connect it with net. In the system tray, right click on the connection and select status (or from control panel>Network connections). Now from General Tab select Properties and select Advance Tab and from “Internet connection sharing”, check “Allow other network users to connect through this computer internet connection” and press OK, then three message of network connections will be seen, press Ok, Yes, Ok. Now see that local IP address changes to 192.168.0.1.
Now from LAN status, select properties>General Tab, and select “Thias connection uses the following items>Internet Protocol(TCO/IP)>Properties. Now change IP into your first IP 192.168.1.12 and press Ok.
Now go to that PC which you want to connect with net. Select LAN>status/Properties and from General Tab select “This connection uses the following items” and select Internet protocol (TCP/IP). Write IP address 192.168.1.12 as default gateway. Now check “use the following DNS server address” and write IP192.168.1.12 in preferred DNS server. Also write IP 192.168.1.13 in Alternet DNS server and press Ok,Ok,Ok. This is the way how to connect more PC with same internet connection.
