2 in 1: USB Bus-powered LCD digital picture frame and an extra mini display

Photo frames in their digital resurrection do a great job as reminders about our relatives, friends or exiting moments of our lives. Convenient and helpful gadgets for sure but how helpful are they when we need an extra display even a small one? Well, their use in this case has been fairly doubted until recent time. The new USB Bus-powered LCD picture frame has been designed to be a real helper incomputer work. Though it hasn'twireless connection and its screen is rather small, it provides new features for daily usage that are coming in very handy. Price is 200 USD which is a big sum of money for a digital photo frame and seriously overestimated actually. May be devices like this will become cheaper as soon as more of them appear in the market.

The only thing that makes USB Bus-powered LCD digital picture frame so pricy and interesting as a gadget – built in native video card. A personal video card in the device expends greatly its possibilities impending it to an additional monitor. You would mostly like to shift your widgets on it, maybe a frequently used website or a program menu. One of its best sides is that it can unload video card of your PC or notebook if it is not too big.

USB Bus-powered LCD digital picture frame has a modest display with 800 X 400 resolution and 4.3 inches, so LED backlight will not consume too much electrical energy.

When more of similar gadgets will appear, and we expect some of them upcoming, they will probably start using OLED technology and that will be a very cool gadget. The mater of size is important for a USB digital frame as long as it is used as a portable mini display. OLED will make it only 3 mm thick.
