Exchange your personal information while handshaking

When we meet with many persons a day, and we must know their personal information for contacting them in the future, it is a huge time loss when we ask it from them personally. Visiting cards are great, but they tend to be lost especially when you need them the most. BluetoothvCard transfer technology didn't found appreciation in the business circles - maybe this is because it is much easier to give your card or spell your number than go through myriads of options on both telephones to transfer tiny file. Japanese designer made an interestingconcept that will solve this problem once and for all.

How it works? Imagine that you have a stylish aluminum ring. It is programmable, has some flash memory inside, so you program all your personal information into that fancy accessory. Telephone number, e-mail, address… All that you consider useful when meet with your business partners. When you shake hands, if your partner has such ring too, rings are exchanging with data, so you have his information and he has yours. Then you just download it to your computer and you will have full contact list with everyone you shook hands with. Pretty simple, yet hi-tech - all is done without any hassle from your side. And the best side: if you want to change your information, all you need to do is connect this ring to your computer and rewrite your data - no more printing ton of a new cards.

This concept looks interesting; however, it still has its lacks. First one, for thisgadget to be useful you need to wear this ring everyday, which may be an unacceptable thing if it will look very simple. Second, your partner must have it too, which requires popularity of this gadget in business circles. If these requirements will be met, then we will have an interesting and modern replacement for the old-fashioned visiting cards. Unfortunately, this concept exists only as an idea; it doesn't have a name at the moment. There are strong chances that it will remain on paper for good, but let's hope that some company will be interested in such interesting way to exchange personal information.
