NEC India has introduced three new “all-rounder” LCD technology based, NP projectors in the market. The projector series has the ability to be managed and controlled directly over the network via the RJ45 interface. "The projectors can be controlled using the Virtual Remote function, not just by using the remote control unit, but also directly from a PC using the VGA cable. With their array of automatic functions, control of the devices is particularly easy and user-friendly," said Sanjay Dhuria, Country Head Multimedia Products Group, NEC India Pvt Ltd. With regard to tech specs, the projectors have a brightness of 2,600 (NEC NP400), 3,000 (NP500) and 3,500 (NEC NP600) ANSI lumens. The Auto Input function, allows the projectors to automatically recognize the connected signal source, while Auto Power On allows the device to automatically switch itself on. The NEC NP400, NP500 and NP600 have also been equipped with 7 W loudspeakers. There is a Virtual Remote function, which allows the various projector settings to be managed not only using the remote control unit, but also from the computer connected to it via the VGA cable. The projectors have been equipped with a Kensington lock connector and can be password protected. The projectors also have a security bar that allows a cable to be attached to them, so as to safeguard against theft.
