Nokia has announced their latest clamshell handset – Nokia 6555, which is a 3G enabled WCDMA and quad-band GSM handset. This clamshell features a QVGA 16 million colour internal display and a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone offers an internal memory of 30 MB further extendable with a microSD cards. "Mobile-savvy consumers expect superior quality and design. We understood that need, and so created the Nokia 6555. The Nokia 6555 is a sophisticated accessory delivering the outstanding features that you expect from Nokia," said Markku Suomi, Product Group Director, Mobile Phones, Nokia. While the camera type has not been specified, Nokia did mention that the camera offers 6x optical zoom, self-portrait and video sharing. The phone is also equipped with Bluetooth.
