Despite that Sony Walkman isn't nearly on the stage of preproduction model and there are only blueprints of its design on the web, we can name some features of the media player. First of all, Walkman will have a drag and drop touchscreen, three inch WQVGA OLED display. Here are some of the advantages of thistechnology: low energy consumption, unsurpassed response time, high brightness, deep, vivid colors and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Audio files of MP3, WMA, AAC and PCM codec will surely be supported and we cross our fingers for FLAC and other lossless formats also. Walkman video playback consists of MPEG-4, WMV and H.264 (AVC) codec, which stands for Blu-Ray disks. Thanks to WiFi network support, Sony Walkman is about to provide tons of features via the Internet, like watching reels on YouTube, purchasing content on Amazon, Crackle video feed subscription and audio podcasts.
